Since opening our doors in 2012, we’ve grown into one of the most trusted early childhood development centers in the community, proudly serving families with love, creativity, and care.

We are more than just a daycare — we are a home of discovery. With a dedicated team of 5 passionate teachers and caregivers, we guide over 40 eager learners each year through a journey of play, learning, and growth. Our approach is rooted in the idea that children learn best when they are free to explore, ask questions, and express themselves. Curriculum

From Numeracy and Life Skill, to Creative Arts and Physical Development, we follow the NCF for children from birth until they go to Primary School.

Programs

We offer a variety of programs from arts & crafts, outdoor play and music & dance. We also have weekly theme-based learning to ensure the children grasp the material.

Do you offer transport services for children around Cosmo City?

We don’t provide direct transport services, but we do assist parents by connecting them with trusted local drivers who already pick up and drop off children at Hulani Day Care. This way, families can arrange safe and reliable transport through community‑based options.

How do you handle language diversity among children?

While most of our teaching is done in English to prepare children for school readiness, our team of multilingual teachers ensures that every child feels at home. At least one teacher can communicate with your child in any of South Africa’s official languages, creating an inclusive and supportive environment for all families.

Are there flexible payment options for families?

Yes — Hulani Day Care offers a variety of payment options to suit different family needs. These can be discussed directly with the principal during enrollment to ensure a plan that works best for you.

Hulani Day Care was founded by a passionate community leader who dreamed of creating a safe, joyful space where children could learn, play, and grow together. With deep roots in Cosmo City and a heart for nurturing young minds, Francinah Matumba built Hulani on the values of care, creativity, and community.
